Winter Workouts

Prepare for the 2024 Spring Season!

2024 winter indoor workouts will be held at the Covenant Christian Academy gym of located at 1982 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109.  Practices will be 4 Sundays in a row in February and early March.  Please wear sneakers (it's a hardcourt surface) and full equipment, including mouthguard and protective cup.  If you are renting equipment, please let us know and arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time so you can be properly fit. 

IMPORTANT:  A mouth guard and protective cup are required.  The club cannot rent this equipment. Please buy them and bring them with you to every workout, practice, and game. More information on required equipment and wear to purchase it can be found on our Equipment Guide page.

 

Dates:

Winter workouts for 2024 will start on February 11! Register today.

Winter workouts will be held in the gymnasium at the Covenant Christian Academy on the following dates:

Sunday, February 11
Sunday, February 18
Sunday, February 25
Sunday, March 3

8U & 10U practice will run from 2-3pm (arrive at 1:30 if you need equipment).
12U & 14U practice will run from 3-4pm (arrive at 2:30 if you need equipment). 

Please arrive 30 minutes early if you are renting equipment and 15 minutes early to get dressed if you are bringing your own equipment.

  • First-year players are free
  • Loaner equipment is free for first-year players 
  • Returning players can rent equipment for a low cost:
    • ​$75 helmet rental fee – refunded at time of return
    • $100 stick and protective gear rental fee – $50 refunded at time of return

WHO WE ARE

Central Dauphin East Jr Lacrosse (CDEJL) is a youth recreational lacrosse club for the Central Dauphin East school district.  We are the feeder system for Central Dauphin East High School and surrounding areas. Go Panthers!

We are part of the Mid-Penn Youth Lacrosse Association (MPYLA), which is composed of the following teams:

Bellefonte, Carlisle, Central Dauphin East, Central Dauphin Rams, Central Susquehanna, Chambersburg, Cumberland Valley, Danville, Hershey, Lower Dauphin, Mechanicsburg, Palmyra, State College, & West Shore

 

Our club has 4 different teams based on age:

  • 8U
    • 6 - 8 year olds
    • K - 2nd grade
  • 10U: 
    • 9 - 10 year olds
    • 3rd grade - 4th grade
  • 12U: 
    • 11 - 12 year olds
    • 5th grade - 6th grade
  • 14U: 
    • 13 - 14 year olds
    • 7th grade - 8th grade
